"Paraffin-based phase change materials (PCM)" are increasingly being utilized as thermal storage materials by leveraging the significant thermal storage capacity of paraffin, and they have been produced to improve efficiency and usability. Building materials using PCM can reduce the thermal energy demand of rooms or buildings during heating and cooling. Building materials equipped with PCM can autonomously control the rise or fall of room temperature within a set temperature range, thereby preventing overheating or overcooling of the room.
